Sony Ericsson are not giving much away when it comes to their new Android based smart phone, which has been dubbed the Rachael. What little information has been leaked suggests the Rachael will feature a 1GHz processor and 8.1 megapixel camera.

The Rachael will be the first phone from Sony Ericsson to use Google’s Android OS, and one of the first Android phones to come from a manufacturer other than HTC who seem to be dominating this market at the moment. Sony Ericsson plan to use their own user interface over the Android system that will be geared towards social media usage with integrated apps for services like YouTube and Facebook. Aside from this and the odd photo, Sony Ericsson do not seem to be revealing much about the Rachael, including its intended release date.
