The Tocco Ultra, the newest release from Samsung is a nice development from the original Tocco, whilst including the original Tocco touch screen, Samsung have also incorporated a slide down keypad, increasing it’s appeal and giving it a wider target audience.
With an 8MP camera, the Tocco Ultra is a great successor to the Pixon an i8510 with several developments to the media capabilities. There is the utilisation of the GPS software tied in with the camera for Geotagging photos and the ability to preset a site such as Facebook or Flickr and upload pictures in an instant whilst the widgets function allows quick access to the sites. Samsung have also expressed their desire to move in to the music phone market, whilst not offering anything like Nokia´s ´Comes with Music´ function, they insist the entry will be on more of a hardware basis.
Samsung have designed a slick looking phone with clearly a lot invested in design but they certainly haven´t skimped on the applications and hardware. The Tocco Ultra is equipped with a crystal clear display perfect for viewing films and video clips and with a MicroSD slot, the phone is more than capable of storing said media.

The Tocco Ultra is a brilliantly developed version of the original Tocco but it does have a couple of things that will undoubtedly disappoint. Whilst the camera does have an LED function, it does not have a proper flash and the slightly dubious touch screen will put a few users off but none the less, the Tocco Ultra certainly competes with the likes of the LG Renoir, Arena and the Samsung Memoir.
