Details

if you´re one of those people who´s forever getting lost, then this phone could be an absolute life saver. As the ´Navigator´ name suggests, this phone is all about making sure you get to where you want to be going, as quickly and as easily as possible. If you´re travelling by foot, then you´ll want the pedestrian mode that not only features a digital compass to ensure you´re always know which way you´re heading, but also directs you along paths and tracks as well as roads and streets. Next up is the in-car mode. Thanks to the handy holder that comes free with every phone, you can set the handset up on your dashboard in no time. Once there, the turn-by-turn navigation is as good as any standalone GPS device out there. The screen might not be as big as many of them, but with instructions and an interface this clear, you won´t even notice. Add to this more localised, pre-loaded information than you can imagine and you´ll soon realise why we´re so excited about what this phone has to offer all those of you with wanderlust!

However, it doesn´t end there because the 6710 is also a more than decent phone in its own right. With a more than useful 5MP camera, the ability to record video at a decent clip, Nokia´s music player and their famous web-browsing software, you´ll be happy using this little things even when you´re not outdoors trying to find the nearest pub!

However, the mapping and navigation is probably the main reason you´re looking into this phone. And for some, the looks of this thing (ever so slightly clunky as they are) might put off all those who aren´t absolutely certain they require all the mapping functions this thing has to offer. If you do though, and are one of those people who´s going to be using the v3.0 mapping software often, there´s simply no better choice for you on the market.
