Motorola have seen a decline in their market share over the last few years with many of their phones falling far short of the competition and looking quite dated. The new ROKR ZN50, however, makes a refreshing change and actually has an impressive feature portfolio despite the relatively low quality camera (3.2mp). The ZN50 is aimed primarily at music lovers and has a range of features to reflect this. The phone uses SRS WOW HD sound system with customisable EQ and dedicated music controls. It also features a T-DMB2 digital TV tuner and a ‘panoramic interface’. The UI, which has some resemblances to Google’s Android, consists of three home screens that can be switched between at the flick of a finger. Each home screen can be customised separately and be filled with their own widgets. While the ZN50 could be the device to resuscitate Motorola’s place in the phone market it is for some reason only being released in Korea.
